I have taught myself to sew. I am not really very good at it but it does not stop me. This winter I want to make a castle and dolls of the Stark family. I have not started the castle yet but here is my first Stark doll. They will not work in the castle but I think I might still make the whole family in this size doll anyways.
Catelyn Stark (the doll) is beautiful! I love how you did her hair!! And even though this question will probably make me appear even dimmer than usual, who is Catelyn Stark and the Stark Family? I should probably just Google it, but I'll let you tell me ... :D
ReplyDeleteThere is a series of books by George R.R. Martin called A Song of Ice and Fire. It is its own time and land but it resembles our mid 15th century except there is magic, dragons, and ice zombies which sounds weird but it really isn't. All the supernatural stuff happened so long ago that people have sort of forgotten and think its just myths. So you’re eased into the magic. The Stark family is sort of the good guys. HBO has made a TV series of the books called Game of Thrones. They do a good job of sticking to the books but in typical HBO fashion its a little more pervy then the books but they did not have to amp up the violence because the books are very bloody. The author has left everyone hanging waiting for the last book. I hope he finishes the book before he dies. He appears to be in good health but he isn't getting any younger. They have a huge following because of having both books and a TV show with gratuitous nudity.
ReplyDeleteOh for heaven's sakes. I've heard of Martin but never read his books. I've also heard of Game of Thrones but have never watched the show. Maybe I should both read and watch, as they sound interesting! And a little gratuitous nudity never hurt! ;o)
